INSURANCE CLAIMS FAQ´S

We are here to represent you, not the insurance company,

if we don't recover anything for you, you won't have to pay us!

A public adjuster is licensed by the State of Florida to work for you, not the insurer. Their goal is to protect your interests and maximize your claim, while insurance company adjusters represent the insurer’s interests.

Certainly—but it’s tricky. You'll need to document losses, interpret policy terms, and meet deadlines. If your loss is major, hiring us helps make sure nothing is missed.

As soon as possible—ideally before you speak with the insurance company. Early involvement helps us document your loss accurately and prevent mistakes.

It varies. Fire and hurricane claims typically wrap up in ~90 days if everything goes smoothly. But delays happen—especially in major events. We work to keep things moving.

Nope! We operate on a contingency basis. You pay a small percentage only if we recover money for you. If nothing is recovered, you owe nothing.

That’s illegal in Florida. Your insurer can’t cancel or raise your premiums just because you hired a public adjuster—unless there's fraud or misrepresentation involved.

Pretty much every insured loss: fire, water damage, hurricanes, hail, roof leaks, flooding, mold, theft, business interruption—you name it.

Absolutely. Many denials happen due to misinterpretation or lack of documentation—we re-review, gather evidence, and often secure additional settlement.

Yes. In most states (including Florida), you have up to 2–5 years from the date of loss to reopen or file a supplemental claim. We can still help if underpayment is evident.

We use moisture meters, thermal imaging, and expert inspections to uncover issues not visible to the naked eye—so nothing is left out of your claim.

No—only licensed public adjusters can negotiate insurance claims. A contractor handling both repairs and claims would be a conflict of interest and is against the law.

Even then, you must file and document the claim properly. In some cases, you may be eligible for up to 35% above policy limits. We know how to manage total‑loss claims efficiently.

Definitely—because we’re working to increase your total settlement. Studies show insureds recover significantly more with expert claim handling, even after our fee.
